The OSCE Mission in Kosovo ran an online campaign to mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence - 25 November 2016, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to 10 December, International Human Rights Day - to send the message that domestic violence is a crime and it should be reported. The campaign featured public figures who sent their personal messages against domestic violence, conceptual messages emphasising the importance of speaking up against it and a leaflet with information on what domestic violence is, how to recognize it and what support is available for the victims. The campaign promoted a free helpline and had almost 200,000 reaches on social media.
