Model OSCE for university students across Tajikistan
From 22 to 24 March 2017, the OSCE Office in Tajikistan conducted a Model OSCE for university students from across Tajikistan.
During the three-day training event, 32 participants learned about the OSCE, its structures, institutions, founding principles and its comprehensive approach to security. The students spent one day in Dushanbe where they met with various officials from the Office who lectured on the practicalities of the OSCE’s work on the ground. The event continued for two days in Romit (40km north-east of Dushanbe) where students simulated an OSCE Permanent Council plenary session.
