The rights of both women and men are protected in a fair and non-discriminatory manner if gender-sensitive practices are employed by the security sector. The OSCE Mission to Moldova for example provides human rights guidance and expertise to monitors visiting detention facilities on both banks of the Dniestr/Nistru River.
