The publication was prepared for a series of trainings for Ukrainian judges of courts of common jurisdiction on application of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), within the project "Safeguarding Human Rights through Courts" implemented by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Canada. This edition presents the main provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights and explains them through the prism of the ECtHR’s case-law. This publication is not available in English.
