Engaging different stakeholders against terrorism

Participating States committed to draw on the support of the private sector (business community and industry), the media and civil society as a whole to successfully counter terrorism. The OSCE involves these stakeholders as much as possible in its anti-terrorism activities, and promotes dialogue and co-operation in addressing counter-terrorism issues, in particular through public-private partnerships. This includes work on the prevention of abuse of non-profit organizations for financing of terrorism, while safeguarding freedom of association.
